Cookie & Tracking Policy
Version 1.0 | 23 September 2026
Effective date: 23 September 2026
1. About this Policy
This Cookie & Tracking Policy explains how Maren Health Ltd uses cookies, pixels, scripts and similar technologies on the Maren website. Maren Health Ltd is company number 17425009, registered at 89 Hersham Close, Roehampton, London SW15 4JQ, United Kingdom.
2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small files or pieces of information stored on or accessed from a device when a website is visited. Similar technologies include pixels, scripts, tags and web-storage technologies that store or access information on a device or communicate information about how a website is used.
3. Categories of technologies
Strictly necessary
Technologies that are necessary to provide a service you request or to operate a website feature you have actively requested may be used without consent to the extent permitted by law.
Functional or preference technologies
These may remember choices or support optional features. Where consent is legally required, they will only be used after consent.
Analytics and measurement
These technologies may measure website activity and campaign performance. Where consent is legally required, they will only be activated after the relevant consent.
Advertising and marketing measurement
These technologies may measure interactions with marketing content and advertising campaigns. Where consent is legally required, they will only be activated after the relevant consent.
4. Meta Pixel
The Maren website currently uses Meta Pixel technology. The current implementation records website events including PageView and Lead and is used for website and campaign measurement. Meta’s website event service is a third-party technology.
Maren’s current Meta dataset has automatic website matching turned off and does not currently have an active Conversions API connection. Meta has also applied data-sharing restrictions to the dataset. These configuration details may change as the advertising setup evolves.
Where consent is required for non-essential tracking, the Pixel must be blocked until the relevant consent is provided. Visitors can refuse non-essential tracking.
5. Formspree and website forms
The Maren website uses Formspree to process waitlist and launch-notification form submissions. The current form collects an email address. The Formspree plan reviewed by Maren archives submissions for up to 30 days. Formspree is a form-processing service rather than a cookie category itself; information submitted through a form is covered by the Maren Privacy Notice.
6. Consent and withdrawal
Where consent is required for a cookie, pixel or similar storage/access technology, Maren will seek consent before activating it. Consent choices should be clear, affirmative and granular where appropriate. Refusing optional tracking should be as easy as accepting it, and withdrawal should be available without unreasonable difficulty.
7. Third-party providers and international processing
Third-party tracking or form-processing providers may process information outside the UK or EEA. Where a restricted transfer occurs, Maren will use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards. Provider-level details are maintained in Maren’s internal processor and transfer records.
8. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to control or delete cookies. Browser controls may not provide the same level of choice as Maren’s consent mechanism for pixels, scripts and other technologies.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the website technologies or their purposes change or when legal requirements change. Where required, we will seek fresh consent for a new technology or materially different purpose.
